With BMO’s Huge Acquisition, One Size Does NOT Fit All - Program Highlight Video

Apex’s custom solution made converting BMO’s newly acquired stores as simple as possible.

Canada-based brand Bank Of Montreal (BMO) recently acquired over 500 Bank Of The West branches here in the US.

They wanted fresh and clean stores to make a great first impression on their customers.  The problem is that these stores still had the old Bank Of The West colors, signage, and branding. Every single branch had different needs and requirements - a clean “copy and paste” program wouldn’t work here.

Coordinating everything required to convert these stores would be overwhelming - which is why we worked hard to provide the best service possible to their team to overcome the project’s challenges.  Here are the top three highlights from this program.

  1. The condition of each branch was unknown

The first step in this project was to figure out the current status of branches. So we worked to conduct assessments and determine the needs of each branch. It soon became clear that each branch would need a custom approach.

  2. One size did not fit all

We created a customized plan for each branch. For some branches, this involved simple rebranding like painting a wall and swapping some vinyl. For other branches, this involved full re-flooring, replacing worn fixtures, furniture adjustments, lighting packages, and more.

  3. Carried all the way to closeout

We’ve developed a reputation over the years as the brand that is “going to take care of you”.  While it’s expected your execution team will make it to closeout, it can often feel like you have to prod them with a stick to get there. We make it our goal to lead and maintain good energy through final punch completion.

Have you acquired locations or need support on a program? Apex has everything you need to maintain and grow your multi-site brand. We can help you create a custom solution like we did for BMO - speak with a rep here >
